A little about myself... I have been teaching in Santa Ana for over 20 years, and I have been at MacArthur since 2010. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science, a Master's Degree in Education, a single subject teaching credentials in Social Studies and Language Arts, and a multiple subject teaching credential. I am married and have two children and one dog. I love to travel, read, watch movies, and spend time with my family and friends.
Teaching Philosophy...My goal for ALL of my students is to challenge them to think. Every student I teach is special and has amazing potential. I value them as individuals and as contributors to our entire class's learning. I want students to question, analyze, and evaluate history based on a variety of information. Get ready to use your BRAIN!.
Assignments will be given in class. I will post the homework assignments in Google Classroom once a week. Very few assignments will be collected online. Please do not look at missing assignments and grades in Google Classroom. They are not updated. All grades are posted in Aeries.
