Canvas Support for Students

To keep track of your assignments and Canvas work, look at these 3 options. You can also click on (Canvas Video) for more help:

 

  • Calendar (Canvas Video)
    • This is where you will see any assignment that has a specific date.
    • If an assignment is not in the calendar, check the announcements or ask your teacher about the due date.

    • "Find Appointment"
      • In Calendar, there is an option to sign up for an Appointment. Look for this on the right side of your Canvas Calendar.
      • Find Appointment
      • Select "Submit"
      • Submit Appointment
      • Select an Office Hour Time (If these change, they will be updated on the Calendar each time).

  • Announcements 
    • This is where you will see important messages or special changes.
    • This was previously used for finding assignments but this will NO LONGER be the case. Canvas Calendar has replaced this.

Announcement
             

  • Canvas To Do List (Canvas Video)
    • On the right of your Canvas "Home" screen you will see the To Do List
    • Canvas will list everything that has a due date or recent things your teacher has updated.
    • If the teacher gives a due date, you will see it under the item
