National History Day

Hello Students!

We are all very excited to participate in the National History Day. This is a competition where students take a stand on a historical topic, research from a wide variety of primary and secondary sources, and create a project either as an individual or in a group up to five students. In 2022/2023, MacArthur students will compete in the following categories as individuals or groups: 1. Website 2. Documentary 3. Exhibit 4. Paper

VIII. Submission Guidelines:

  1. Paperwork:     a.   All paperwork has to be one pdf.   b. Process paper has a maximum of 500 words.  c. Annotated Bibliography needs to be separated into two cateogries: Primary Sources and Secondary Sources. Sources must be alphabetized in their two categories.  For examples, look at the Sample Page of entries. 
  2. Documentaries: You have to submit your documentary as an Mp4. This page has instructions.
